Input Form window is not displayed and the application window is locked

If you are often connecting and disconnecting external monitors (e.g. when you are connecting and disconnecting from a docking static), the PhraseExpander Input Form may be shown outside the visible area of the screen.

To close the invisible Input Form

  1. In the Windows taskbar, you should see the PhraseExpander window icon
  2. Go over it with the mouse and when you see the window preview, click on the X button to close the window
  3. If this doesn't work you can force closing the PhraseExpander window from the task manager

To restore the Input Form position

  1. Click on File > Restore window layout to restore the default settings

PhraseExpander will reset the layout and the Input Form window will be displayed on the screen

NOTE: restoring the Input Form position works only from v.5.9.4.7 and above
