Keystrokes not detected in Chrome or browser with ESET Antivirus

Eset Internet Security can prevent PhraseExpander from correctly detecting abbreviations in the browsers like Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer, and other applications, like Microsoft Word.

This happens because it encrypts the typed keystrokes, and PhraseExpander is no longer able to detect the typed abbreviation.

How to make Eset Internet Security Antivirus play nice with PhraseExander

1

Open Eset Internet security dashboard

2

Click on Setup > Security Tools and uncheck the Secure all browsers

Once you have followed the steps above, PhraseExpander shall detect your typed keystrokes reliably.
