Shortcuts to add & edit templates

On top of defining all your templates inside the PhraseExpander application itself, you can build your library as you go by using the following shortcuts to add your templates.

Customize them by clicking on File → Options → Shortcuts

In this article

Add the current text selection

Add new templates as you go, by simply selecting the piece of text from any application and typing a key combination. A new template will be added to your library.

CTRL + SHIFT + W

Edit the last executed template

If you have just expanded a template and decided that you want to change it, you just type a key combination to open it in PhraseExpander, ready for editing.

CTRL + SHIFT + E

Add your favorite applications

Add your favorite applications into your library for fast access by typing a key combination when the application is active.

CTRL + SHIFT + A
