Create a text fill-in variable

Use fill-ins to create request additional information through a form before the template is sent to the target application.

This tutorial explains how to display a textbox to request additional information where the user can type freely

To create a new fill-in

In the Quick edit or the Full editor, right-click and choose Variable → New fill-in

Assign a variable name (should be unique in the template), how it should be displayed (text, multi-selection list, calendar) and the appropriate options.
In this case, we select Text as Display as.

Click on the Preview button to display a preview of the variable

Click OK to confirm. The variable placeholder is inserted into the template. The variable can be reused multiple times in the template.
