Importing PhraseExpander 4 database

The database created in PhraseExpander 4 ( ipdb extension) can be imported into v5 and the macros will be automatically converted to the new format.

When PhraseExpander 5 is launched for the first time, it automatically imports your v4 database.

You can also manually import the database.

To import a v4 database

Click on the File → Open

Choose the PhraseExpander v4 database file format ( ipdb)

Click  OK to confirm and open the database
