Request a date by using variables

PhraseExpander can display fill-ins to request additional data.

In this tutorial, you'll learn how you can use a Calendar fill-in to insert a date into an existing template.

Create a new variable by right-clicking in the template and choosing Variables → New fill-in

Enter the variable name and choose the Display type Calendar

Customize it by setting the label or editing the date format

You can click the Preview button to check how the variable looks

Click OK to confirm. The new variable is inserted into your template
