Input Form window is not displayed and the application window is locked
If you are often connecting and disconnecting external monitors (e.g. when you are connecting and disconnecting from a docking static), the PhraseExpander Input Form may be shown outside the visible area of the screen.
To close the invisible Input Form
- In the Windows taskbar, you should see the PhraseExpander window icon
- Go over it with the mouse and when you see the window preview, click on the X button to close the window
- If this doesn't work you can force closing the PhraseExpander window from the task manager
To restore the Input Form position
Click on File > Restore window layout to restore the default settings
PhraseExpander will reset the layout and the Input Form window will be displayed on the screen
NOTE: restoring the Input Form position works only from v.5.9.4.7 and above
