Make G Data Internet security and PhraseExpander work together

G Data Internet Security can prevent PhraseExpander to properly detect abbreviations in the browsers like Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer. This will cause PhraseExpander not to show the proper suggestions when expected.

How to make G Data Internet Security play nice with PhraseExander

Open G Data Internet Security by right-clicking on its tray icon and choosing Start G DATA INTERNET SECURITY

Click Web protection / More settings…

Click on  Advanced in the Browser protection section

Uncheck all browsers, so PhraseExpander will be able to detect typed abbreviations in those applications

Once you have followed the steps above, PhraseExpander shall detect the typed keystrokes reliably.
